African tulip tree

Spathodea is a genus in the plant family Bignoniaceae. The single species it contains, Spathodea campanulata, is commonly known as the African tulip tree or the Nandi Flame. A large tropical ornamental tree known for its showy orange-red, tulip-shaped flowers and broad canopy. It is commonly planted along roadsides and in parks in warm climates.
