Rambutan

Rambutan (Nephelium lappaceum) is a medium-sized tropical tree in the family Sapindaceae. The name also refers to the edible fruit produced by this tree. The rambutan is native to Southeast Asia. A tropical fruit tree in the soapberry family, known for its red or yellow hairy fruits with sweet, juicy flesh. It is typically grown in warm, humid climates and is not frost tolerant.
